These terms are between you and JoCoding, Inc. ("we", "us") for the game Ramen Tycoon. By installing or playing you agree to them. They are not an agreement with Apple or Google, who are not responsible for the game. Nothing here limits rights you have by mandatory law, including consumer protection law.
2. License to play
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and play the game on your own devices for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell, rent, reverse engineer or modify the game, or use cheating tools, bots or exploits to gain an advantage or to harm the service.
3. Virtual items
Gems, catering coupons and other in-game items have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, cannot be transferred to other players and are not redeemable outside the game.
Paid gems and purchased coupons do not expire. Free gems do not expire either.
Items are fixed and fully shown before you buy. The game does not sell random items or boxes.
Permanent items (such as the Ad-Free Rewards Pass, Permanent Manager, Double Profits, Large Storage and the packs) stay with your store account and can be restored with Restore purchases.
The Ad-Free Rewards Pass lets you claim ad rewards without watching an ad. It does not remove optional ads from the game, and daily limits stay the same.
4. Payments, refunds and withdrawal
Payments are taken by Apple or Google in your local currency. Prices are shown in the shop.
Digital items apply to your shop right away. Refunds go through the Apple or Google refund process, under their rules.
If you live in Korea, unused paid gems can be withdrawn within 7 days of purchase. Purchases are billed by Apple or Google. Within 7 days of purchase, unused paid gems can be refunded by requesting a refund from Apple or Google, or by emailing bill@jocoding.net with your order number (we will guide the request). When the refund is processed, the matching gems are removed. Used gems and consumed items cannot be withdrawn, as shown before purchase. Items already used or applied right away may fall under the exceptions of the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
If a refund is granted for a consumable after you used it, we may adjust your balance.
A monthly spending limit and, for younger players, a parent or guardian confirmation are built into the shop. They are tools for you; they are not a guarantee against purchases.
5. Ads
Ads are optional. You choose whether to watch a rewarded ad. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and are subject to its policies. We are not responsible for the content of advertisers.
6. Backup and your restore code
The game can back up your shop to our server. A backup is a convenience, not a guarantee. You are responsible for keeping your restore code private: anyone who has it can take your shop. We may remove backups that have not been updated for 400 days.
7. Changes to the game and to these terms
We may update, change or discontinue features, balance and prices, and the service itself, with reasonable notice where we can. We may update these terms; the new version applies from its effective date, and if you do not agree you can stop playing and delete the game. Changes that are significant for consumers will be announced in the app.
8. Suspension
We may limit or end access for cheating, abuse, fraud (for example chargebacks) or breach of these terms.
9. No warranty and limit of liability
The game is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of game data. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are brought before the courts with jurisdiction under Korean law, without removing the consumer's right to use the courts of their home country where mandatory law gives it.
